Our neighborhood has a great new locally-owned dining/take out option!  Jennifer Pennifer Bakes recently opened on Pico Blvd. —  just east of Midvale on the north side.

Owned and operated by West L.A. native Jennifer Saltzman. the cafe menu includes breakfast and lunch items  — such as omelettes, sandwiches and salads — featuring organic/locally sourced ingredients and vegan options.  In addition, Jennifer specializes in gourmet individual cheesecakes and vegan pastries/desserts.  Full sized cheesecakes may be ordered, as well as custom baked goods. Jennifer Pennifer will be familiar to many of us, as it had a successful run at it’s previous location on National Blvd., west of Motor.  When her lease expired, Jennifer decided to move into our neighborhood — to our great benefit and pleasure!  The cafe/bakery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 8am-4pm, and Sundays from 9am-3pm.  Stop on in for a bite to eat, or to grab some delicious desserts and pastries to bring home!
