Construction during COVID-19

Construction is still ongoing in many parts of the city. The Department of Building and Safety regulates all ongoing construction and enforces against code violations at all properties except multifamily housing. LADBS has published guidance regarding safe construction and will be inspecting for compliance. To report construction non-compliance please use 3-1-1.  Contact may also be made with the CD 5 deputy for our area, Angel Izard (angel.izard@lacity.org) If you see an unsafe business in operation you can report through the Mayor’s Ambassador program. If the issue is at a multifamily residential building (duplex, apartment, etc) contact the Housing Department here.
