The Westside Neighborhood Council’s second annual Safety & Preparedness Fair is happening on September 22, 2019 between 11AM and  3PM at Overland Elementary School.

Last year’s event was a HUGE success with over 400 familes attending and the organizers are expecting an even bigger turnout this year!

This fantastic FREE event is a great oportunity to learn how to prepare and survive an earthquake or other major disaster, as well as how to protect themselves from crime.  Over 40 informational and educational booths will be set up at which hands-on demonstrations of CPR,  how to use a fire extinguisher, how to turn off utilities in case of an earthquake, “Stop the Bleed”, and more will be offered.  More information HERE.
